We had a great time with Grandma, Phyllis and Brent. Here are a few of the pictures of our adventures: At Crater Lake & the Gorge; on the Jet Boat running the Rogue; at the House of Mystery; and at a covered bridge etc. It was a really fun time for all of us. We also bottled fruit in between everything....applesauce and pears. Your dad just worked the full time but we really enjoyed ourselves. I loved going to the antique stores with Grandma...she could tell me about everything there and how they used it.

AMAZING OREGON COAST
From the near 100's here to the cool low 60's on the coast ... it was a wonderful experience...clear to attending the wedding on the top of a mountain with the white linens and live band. Amazing! We still love the ocean....it always amazes us with it's consistent force and change.
We loved the Myrtle wood (one of only two places in the world where Myrtle Trees grow) and also the sailor knot art done by a local couple, both of which we admire. Also the beauty of the trip over and back...nothing like the green of Oregon!

Reunion
We loved our time in Idaho at the reunion but we certainly missed F & B and the M & K's. We had a great time with S & A, C/R & the N/J's. The tee shirts worked out well...we could tell which child belonged to which family and with 120 of us in attendance, it was necessary. It was fun to visit with Grandma and celebrate her 87th birthday also.
We also went up a dirt road for 28+ miles to visit Silver City which was not what we expected but the country was beautiful anyway. The church was beautiful sitting on a hill though.

Old Car Ride
OK. Another old car! We went to our religion teacher home for a fun BBQ tonight and after he let your dad drive me around in his hot 1950 Chevy that he has just gotten all fixed up as a street rod. It is complete with air, stereo, DVD etc. What a fun ride we had! And the noise that it makes...reminded us of our high school years. This is the car that he had when he was 15 and he just kept it throughout all these years. Quite a car!
Cars, Cars & More Cars!
1901.... the first automobile! A guy found pictures and made this one to scale. Note that it does not have a steering wheel, just a stick that goes in the direction that he wants the car to go!
Cute old cars and hundreds of them! That's me by my favorite one.
The red 1967 Camero was fun to see. Like mine - only mine had a black vinyl top. Wished that I still had it...It was really fun to drive. That is what I was driving when I was RS Pres. then Stake RS Pres.
We had a great time and the weather was perfect!

One More Update
What fun to have M/K & J with us for a couple of days over Memorial Day Weekend!
We felt so good about all of the projects that M helped us get done...plus the good food that he made for us. Just a relaxing time for us all.
Earlier in the month to be at N and J home with their little J ... then to have J here. Our cup is certainly full...filled with gratitude for those we love.
Boys....little and big!!!
Wow, where has the time gone?
We loved May because we could be with all of those family members that we love so much... thanks to F/B & H being in Utah for the blessing. What cute little boys we have! There is nothing like being grandparents!! We have the cutest little boys in the whole world!
Of course we couldn't miss a snap shot of the whole gang being together which is always a huge treat.
